Chiefs switched to focus on league match

Kaizer Chiefs will host Cape Town City in what is billed as a title chasing fixture. The match takes place at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 17 February (kick-off is at 20:15).

Amakhosi are on an eight-game unbeaten run with the last defeat coming against Chippa United on 6 December 2017. However, despite this fine run of form, Chiefs still trail log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by seven points.

The Glamour Boys beat Cape Town City in Cape Town earlier in the season, thanks to goals from Siphiwe Tshabalala and Wiseman Meyiwa.

With ten games left to the finish line, Amakhosi and the Citizens are equal on 31 points. Chiefs occupy fourth spot, one ahead of Cape Town City thanks to a better goal difference.

Both sides still have an outright shot at the league title, which will make this game an interesting battle. So don’t miss out and be there at the FNB Stadium to be that 12thMan behind your favourite team.
