Matsatsantsa are going into crucial match under the new head coach Kaitano Tembo

SuperSport United take on Orlando Pirates when they defend the 2018 MTN8 Cup on Saturday night on the road.

The big event is scheduled for Orlando Stadium at 20:30.

Matsatsantsa are going into crucial match under the new head coach Kaitano Tembo who was deputy to the ex-SuperSport coach Eric Tinkler when they clinched the trophy in Durban last year.

“Kaizer”, who was affectionately called by his teammates during his playing days, assumed the new role this season and has so far played two league matches with a loss and a win respectively.

Matsatsantsa won the coveted trophy after beating Cape Town City on penalties at Moses Mabhida Stadium last season, ironically, the side lost to in their opening league match last weekend.

SuperSport will be going into this match with some of their new players who featured in their last two matches.

Players such as James Keene and “Jones” have shown some great hunger and have impressed in the last two games.
