Zamalek defeated Pyramids 3-0 to win 2018-19 Egypt Cup, retaining the title for the second successive season. The final match was played in front of 20,000 supporters on Sunday night at the Alexandria based Borg El Arab stadium.

Zamalek will face league champions and eternal rivals Al Ahly in the 2019 Egypt Super Cup. Both sides represent Egypt in the ongoing 2019-20 Total CAF Champions League, with away missions awaiting them next weekend. Zamalek travel to Dakar to face Senegal’s Generation Foot while Ahly taken on Equatorial Guinea’s debutants Cano Sport in Malabo.
