SuperSport United visit Wits tonight

SuperSport United will take a trip to Johannesburg for their crucial Absa Premiership match against Bidvest Wits this week.

The match is scheduled for Bidvest Stadium on Friday night.

The match starts at 20:00.

United are going into this match after playing to a goalless draw with Golden Arrows in their midweek league encounter at home.

Although Matsatsantsa dropped two points at home, the draw moved them from position five to number four on the table.

Matsatsantsa and Wits are separated by one point on position four (14 points) and three (15 points) on the league table respectively.

A win for coach Kaitano Tembo’s boys will see them unseating Wits from position three to the fourth spot.

This is not going to be an easy one as the home side will be looking to settle the score while Matsatsantsa are aiming to minimize the big gap between them and leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

Interestingly, Matsatsantsa will be up against forward Mxolisi Macuphu who was on loan with them last season.

In their last meeting, United emerged victorious when they beat Wits in the quarterfinal of the 2019 MTN8 Cup, the competition they ultimately won.
