Swallows hold Sundowns to a draw

Moroka Swallows hold Memolodi Sundowns to a 2-2 draw last night at Dobsonvill Stadium. The home team dominated the first half and created too many chances to burry the visitors, it 20 minutes to break Sundowns defense when Joseph Makhanya played a to Siyabonga Nomvete inside the box and just gave a it a heal to Bennet Chenene to make a lead.

Swallows Keeper Greg Etafia made another mistakes inside his box when he failed to communicate with he defenders, Nyasha Mushekwi connect Lebohang Mokoena’s cross to level the matters in 46 minutes time added from the first half. Both team went to the dressing room with 1-1.

In the second half The General Teko Modise, pulls one for Sundowns to make a lead in  60 minutes before Joseph Makhanya makes it 2-2 on 61 minutes to silence Mameldi Sundowsn. Gordon Igusand brought in fresh legs in Lerato Shabangu 71 minute and replacing Bennett Chenene who had a great game for the beautiful birds.

 Sundowns also brought changes in 74 minutes bringing in Elias Pelembe for Lebohang Mokoan, Bafana bastayela took a game away from the birds when Anthony Laffor when Swallows defenders were court napping at the back, Swallows also brought in Zimbabwean striker Oscar Machapa out Jeseph Makhanya in 87 minutes. The game ended in 2-2 draw with 36 points, if Kazer Chiefs who will be playing at Mbombela stadium and Supersport  United win they will close the gape and Sundowsn will be in a big pressure to win their next game.
