Platinum Stars’ quest for a top eight place this season continues when they welcome Free State Stars to the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Saturday, April 21 (kick-off 15h00), and the club have a special offer for fans as an early celebration of Freedom Day.
Dikwena have decided to offer a ‘buy one, get one free’ deal for supporters, who will be able to bring along a family member or friend to the Absa Premiership encounter if they purchase a ticket for the game against Ea Lla Koto.
“Platinum Stars has always taken pride in how we make our matches accessible to the broader community and with Freedom Day coming up on April 27, we have decided to give supporters something for nothing, an extra ticket to the match against Free State Stars,” says Platinum Stars Supporters’ Co-coordinator & Media Relations head Aubrey Molobi.
“The team is entering a critical phase of the season and the top eight is still very much alive for us, so we ask that people take up our offer and come out in numbers to support the players, and also as an early celebration of our freedom in South Africa.”
Tickets for the game cost R40 for adults and R20 for children and will be available at the stadium on match day.
Meanwhile, Stars midfielder Patrick Malokase says he is relishing the opportunity to continue his fine form and finish the season on a high with Dikwena.
“Free State Stars have done very well this season and have a very physical and skillful team,” Malokase, who is on loan from Orlando Pirates, says. “They are fighting near the top of the table and will also be looking to secure a top-eight place, so it is all to play for on either side.
“But we are playing really well and have confidence that we can beat them. We know that on our day we are a match for any side in the PSL, and the players are really determined to end the season well and finish as high as possible.”
