Doctor Khumalo: We are forced to Change things in the team

Amakhosi will be meeting student for the second time this season and, Amakhosi beat Wits 3-1 at Mbombela stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Doctor “16v” khumalo told 90mins.co.za website that his team haven’t done enough to prepare for the upcoming  game tactically, against Bidvest because some of their key (8) players are on duty for the National teams, Bafana Bafana and Zimbabwe. Players who were away are Siphiwe Tshabalala, George Lebese, Bernard Parker, Itumeleng Khune, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Eric Mathoho for South Africa and for Zimbabwe are Kingston Nkatha and Lincoln Zvasiya

“ We might change few things in the team and give other players a chance and by doing this I don’t think we are going to struggle, all players who are registered with Kaizer Chiefs will do the job and they know that we need to progress to the next round of this competition” said Khumalo

He also reiterated that this is going to be a great game for both teams but he hopes that Bidvest Wits don’t part the bus at the back and wait for us to come to them.

Chiefs bagged back-back wins both in 2012 calendar year as they defeated Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates to take their impressive number of wins in competition to 13 in 16 finals appearances down the years.

Wits chose to play at Milpark stadium because it suits their style of play and I can bet they are working on their defense but this won’t hamper Chiefs, conclude Doctor Khumalo

The excitement will now build towards the 2012 event to see who will be crowned champions and write into the history books of South African football.
