Ajax set sights on Stars

 
Stars began 2013 on the front foot with a 2-0 home win over Bloemfontein Celtic to keep pace with the leaders at the top of the log.
 
The Rustenburg team has an excellent home record this season, with seven wins from eight matches.
 
Dikwena are placed third on the Absa Premiership log with 34 points from 17 matches.
 
Ajax got their 2013 off to a somewhat slow start with a 1-1 home draw against Moroka Swallows in midweek.
 
The Cape Town team has won just once away from home all season and suffered seven defeats from nine matches.
 
The Urban Warriors are placed 14th on the Absa Premiership log with 16 points from 17 matches.
 
In head-to-head stats, Stars and Ajax have met in 19 league matches since 2003/04.
 
The Cape side has claimed 10 wins compared to just three for Dikwena, while six matches have been drawn.
 
Stars do not have a good record at home to the Urban Warriors, having won just two of nine previous home matches.
 
When the teams met earlier this season in the Mother City, the home side romped to a 4-1 win thanks to goals from Dolly, Grobler (2) and Billiat.
