Golden Arrows hope to use home advantage when facing Bidvest Wits

Arrows have suffered from inconsistent form throughout the season and were beaten 2-1 away to Black Leopards in their last league outing.

The Durban side’s inconsistency is demonstrated in their home record, which reads five wins, five losses and one draw from 11 matches.

Abafana Bes’thende are placed 12th on the Absa Premiership log with 23 points from 21 matches.

Wits have been in good form of late, winning three of their last five league matches. Their last outing was a 2-1 home win over Maritzburg United.

The Johannesburg side will be looking to improve on an away record which has seen them win just two of 10 matches on the road.

The Clever Boys are placed sixth on the Absa Premiership log with 29 points from 21 matches.

The Johannesburg side has 11 wins compared to just four to their counterparts from Durban.

Arrows have won just three of their 10 home matches to Wits down the years, the last of which was back in 2006/07.
