Right back Limbikani Mzava strained his abductor (groin) in his team’s
1-1 draw to Maritzburg United last weekend but according to Celtic’s medical team he should be fit for the next match after physiotherapy and rest.
The other player on the sidelines who will face a Thursday fitness test is midfielder Kurt Lentjies, who injured his hamstring in his side’s 1-1 draw to AmaTuks last week.
Lentjies suffered a grade 1 hamstring strain and may well be ready for the Chiefs game, should rest and physiotherapy go according to plan.
Striker Lerato Manzini will be out for the rest of the season as he heals from a hair-line fracture of the 5th metatarsal bone (foot).
Auguston Leonard meanwhile could be ready for action around the first week of May after recovering well from a grade 2 medial collateral ligament tear of his knee.
Apart from the four injured players, Celtic will have all players available after no suspensions were picked up.
