“We will take this point and move on,” said the 26-year old. “Obviously we would have loved to win the match but unfortunately that just wasn’t to be. The most important thing is that we didn’t lose and that” – he stressed – “is what we need to focus on and move forward.
“Although I am disappointed we didn’t win I am satisfied with the result. Those guys (referring to Leopards) are halfway into their season but yet we were still able to hold our own against them. We still have five games to play, that is fifteen points to play for. No team is guaranteed points – we all must fight for them.”
He added: “We have to regroup now and forget about this match. The next focus is Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday and it is important that we are mentally prepared for this encounter so that we can successfully defend the Black Label Cup.”
