Ryan Chapman: We will reach the finals

Wits face Platinum Stars in their first leg of the MTN8 semi final this Sunday at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Wits played a goalless draw against Platinum Stars at the opening of the new PLS season.  Ryan Chapman is confident that Wits will come out on top as they have not only signed new players but quality players too.

He plans on working hard to be on the starting 11 for this Sunday’s clash and eventually get a National call up. “The preparation is going well so far, we have a great coach in Gavin Hunt, Platinum stars would not be given special treatment, all the teams are the same to us ” Chapman said

“The focus is on Chiefs and Pirates but one of them will be with us in the final.”

Chapman explained that whether they could have been drawn to play against chiefs or Pirates it wouldn’t have made any difference as both teams are good and deserve to be part of the semi finals. One thing he’s certain of is that Wits will face one of the Soweto giants at the MTN8 Finals.

Ryan Chapman “We don’t have to be in lime light, one of the bigger teams will be in the final and will meet them” conclude Ryan Chapman
