Daine Klate; We have what it takes to unlock Kaizer Chiefs defence

History will repeat itself” that’s Orlando Pirates’ motto for this coming weekend’s Soweto derby clash as they take on Kaizer Chiefs this Saturday at Soccer City for the MTN8 first leg semi final.

Not being able to elaborate on whether Chiefs will repeat history after beating Pirates in July for the Carling Black label cup. Pirates feels that the team have seen their previous mistakes after the black label encounter and plan on rectifying them at this weekend’s pkclash. Daine Klate is glad to have Lennox Bacela at Pirates “Bacela wants to be part of the team and is more mobile than Mbesuma”.

“Chiefs is a tough team but I think if we play to our strength we can win the match. My wish is to see us winning by the same margin we beat Zamalek here last Saturday – we want to keep consistent especially us forward players and if that mean we have to beat Chiefs by the same score margin we won on Saturday then so be it,” he added.

“We know it will not be easy but we will go into the derby focused on getting a positive result and keep consistent especially in big games,” he concluded.
