Kaizer Chiefs takes on Dikwena at FNB Stadium

Chiefs played to their first goalless draw of the season in midweek, as they were held to a stalemate by Bloemfontein Celtic.

The Soweto giants have recorded four points from two home matches so far this season.

Their next three league opponents are Golden Arrows (away), Orlando Pirates (home) and Ajax Cape Town (away).

The Amakhosi are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with eight points from five matches.

Stars maintained their unbeaten record in the league this season with a 1-0 home win over University of Pretoria in midweek.

The Rustenburg side has drawn both of their two away matches so far this term.

Their next three league opponents are Mpumalanga Black Aces (home), Moroka Swallows (away) and SuperSport United (home).

Dikwena are placed fourth on the Absa Premiership log with nine points from five matches.

In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Stars have met in 20 league matches since 2003/04.

The Amakhosi have claimed eight wins compared to three for Dikwena, while nine matches have been drawn.

Chiefs have won three of their 10 home matches against Stars, suffering two defeats in the process.

Last season Dikwena took four points off Amakhosi, winning 2-0 in Rustenburg before drawing the return match 0-0.
