Struggling Arrows look to end goal's drought

Arrows suffered a third defeat from their last four league matches when they were beaten 3-0 at Bloemfontein Celtic last week.

The Durban side has claimed just seven points from a possible 18 in their six home matches so far this season.

Their next three league opponents are Kaizer Chiefs (home), Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town (both away).

Abafana Bes’thende are placed 15th on the Absa Premiership log with 10 points from 12 matches.

AmaZulu saw a four-game unbeaten streak come to an end in their last outing when they were beaten 2-0 by University of Pretoria.

The Durban side has claimed nine points from a possible 21 in seven away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates (both home) and Mpumalanga Black Aces (away).

Usuthu are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 17 points from 13 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Arrows and AmaZulu have met in 18 league matches since 2001/02.

Abafana Bes’thende have eight wins compared to seven for Usuthu, while just three matches have been drawn.

Arrows have won five of their nine home matches against AmaZulu, suffering four defeats in the process.

Last season Usuthu took four points off their rivals, drawing 0-0 at home and wining 1-0 away
