Chiefs hope to maintain their winning streak

The two teams have been amongst the busiest already so far this year due to their upcoming continental commitments with Amakhosi, who will contest the CAF Champions League, winning both their games so far to take firm grip of the title race.

CAF Confederation Cup entrants Matsatsantsa, meanwhile, won two and lost their other game in January to move up to second, a point ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits – both on 25.

The Brazilians, 1-0 losers to Chiefs in their only fixture of the year, are up against basement club Lamontville Golden Arrows at Loftus Stadium, also on Wednesday.
