Bidvest host Supersport United tonight

The Clever Boys handed AmaZulu their first league defeat of the year in their last outing, claiming a 1-0 win in Durban. They then easily disposed of SAFA Second Division outfit AmaBEE in the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup.

Bidvest Wits are placed fourth on the Absa Premiership log with 28 points from 16 matches. The Johannesburg side is unbeaten at home so far this season, with four wins and three draws from seven matches.

This encounter will also see Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt welcome his former side SuperSport United in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter.

Hunt coached United for six seasons before leaving them at the end of last season to join the Bidvest Wits. No doubt he will be more familiar with the thoughts and capabilities of the opposition on Tuesday evening.

United have racked up two successive wins in the league, with their last outing a 2-1 victory away to Moroka Swallows. The Pretoria side has claimed 15 points from their nine away matches so far this season.

Matsatsantsa are placed third on the Absa Premiership log with 32 points from 19 matches.

When the teams met last season, they played to 1-1 and 0-0 draws in Pretoria and Johannesburg respectively.
