Bucs edge Sundowns

The Orlando Pirates sweet revenge win, change fortunes as they suffered a fatal loss with the same score forthnights ago.

Both teams had a scrappy start where tackles where flying all the over pitch. Mamelodi Sundowns find themselves on edge of the Buccaneers attacking line, when Laffor’s shot fisted by Senzo Meyiwa on the 21st minute.

Mamelodi Sundowns kept the pressure to Orlando Pirates, when they almost opened their scoring through Magalela , but Senzo Meyiwa saved a blistering strike from him. 

Orlando Pirates found their opening goal on the 37th minute, when  Helder Pelembe dribbled his way into the box on the left before drilling the ball across goal for Masuku to finish with a tap-in from close range

Memelodi Sundowns came close to levelling matters before break, when Hlompo took a strike from a freekick and Senzo dived to save the ball from scoring and it went wide to the goal post.

The Buccaneers were almost gifted a second goal three minutes into the second half as Teko Modise lost the ball to Masuku, but he was unable to grab his brace as he rushed his lobbed effort wide of goal.

Sundowns had an opportunity from a quick break in the 55th minute as Bongani Zungu found Ramagalela on the left side of the box, who then left the ball for Lebohang Mokoena, but his strike was deflected jut wide of goal.
Buccaneers should have doubled their increased their goals in the 70th minute as Masuku played a perfect through pass to release Pelembe on the right, but the striker lost the ball as he tried to go around the Keeper.
