Jele was speaking at a Press conference this afternoon at the Premier Soccer League offices, ahead of the Nedbank Cup Quarter Final tussle with Sundowns on Saturday evening.
He explained to a group of journalists at the packed PSL auditorium that Orlando Pirates will face Saturday’s clash at Loftus Stadium like a Cup final, as they intend to reach their fourth consecutive final in the current campaign.
“We lost three finals already and this is the last chance for us to win something. It has been hard but we put ourselves in this situation; we cannot complain.
“We won trebles and had to represent South Africa in the Champions League – we knew it would be hard and unfortunately from that competition, we have not had a great run in our domestic league.
“But that is in the past. We have Sundowns to focus on… we have to win the game and reach the final and win something this season. As a team we are working well. It is a big game so, we will prepare very well to go far in this tournament and try to win it,” the Bucs’ full-back asserted.
