Bloemfontein Celtic will look to continue with their winning ways when they come up against a wounded Platinum Stars team this Sunday at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Lerato Lamola, who scored the opening goal in the mid-week clash against AmaZulu was cautiously optimistic about the upcoming game “We will be going to Rustenburg to get maximum points but we expect Stars to fight hard. They have lost 3 matches in a row and they will look to redeem themselves when face them.”

Coach Ernst Middendorp will be spoiled for choice as there are no players suspended in the team and no major injuries from the pool of players that have played in last four fixtures.

Celtic won their midweek game 2-0, against Amazulu, away from home while Stars lost their match. The win on Wednesday, was the first for this campaign and the team will look to get another 3 points away from home.

The 1st of September will mark the beginning of the Fifa International week. While teams that are on a winning streak might not welcome the break, those with injured players will use the break for recuperation.

Celtic’s next competitive match will be on the 14th of September when they host Mamelodi Sundowns.
