Orlando Pirates coach Vladimir Vermezovic was smiling for the first time in three weeks after his side came from a goal behind to beat Polokwane City in a Telkom Knockout, Last 16 match on Sunday.
The buccaneers came into the game off the back of two defeats over the last couple of weekends.
Vermezovic admitted he was happy with the result, but concerned his side may lose their rhythm once more due to the upcoming FIFA break this week.
“We controlled the game,” said the Pirates coach.
“It has been a turbulent time of late and the guys played well today (against Polokwane).
“Now we have this FIFA break and we will see how the layers cope – the previous one wasn’t good for us, I hope this one will be much better.
“We have quality in our team, it doesn’t matter who we play and that showed today.
“It doesn’t matter if it is Kermit (Erasmus), (Lehlohonolo) Majoro or Lennox (Bacela) up front.
“Our only question is psychologically.”
