Senzo Meyiwa believes the Mighty Buccaneers will be ready to welcome the Urban Warriors to Orlando Stadium tonight.
Meyiwa said that after the midweek defeat to Mpumalanga Black Aces, the team has regrouped and the entire focus is on defeating Ajax Cape Town in the Telkom Knock out Cup.
“We have to win this match – there is no coming back in Cup matches,” he told OPFC.com on Thursday.
“It is a match we have to try our best to win, even though we know it will be very difficult.”
The Bucs’ shot-stopper said the fact that the side from Cape Town will come to Orlando with his former coach Roger de Sa, will make this match more interesting.
“Ja, Coach Roger (de Sa) was here and we used to plan together for matches; now he is on the other side and that will be tough.
“But in football coaches don’t play – Roger will not play on the day, so, as much as they will come here with a plan, we will also plan against them because we know how the coach likes to play in certain phases of the game.
“It will be a very nice match and I’m hoping to be at my best because, eish, we can’t lose at home.”
