AmaZulu coach Steve Barker believes that their defeat against Orlando Pirates has made things even harder for them after falling 2-1 against Bucs on Wednesday night at Moses Mabhida.
It is without a question that AmaZulu put in a superb performance at home but again could not maintain the lead.
Barker said that defeat against Pirates made things a bit difficult but they need to be strong and bounce back on Sunday.
“We have to win a minimum of six games. We lost out on an opportunity to collect three points which means that on Sunday we must get the maximum points. We must put in another performance or even better than this past one,” said Barker.
Barker said that they do not have enough time until Sunday for their match against Bloemfontein Celtic, but he is happy with the performance displayed by his team.
“We forced them onto the back foot and created a number of set pieces. I think it is important not to chase games but to lead. Our strikers did well and we just need to touch up on one or two things.
“We need to be positive and that is why we had three strikers and that is how we kept them in their own half.
“When you have three quality strikers that all have the potential to score then it sets you apart and I think our strikers did well,” said Barker.
AmaZulu will take on Bloemfontein Celtic in the Free State on Sunday.
