Robin van Persie insists that he is “relaxed” about his situation at Manchester United despite the recent speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford.
The Netherlands forward is entering into the final year of hisManchester United contract after a stop-start season for the striker.
The striker’s future has been a subject of speculation in recent days following the end of the season, with Serie A side Inter Milan rumoured to be one of the clubs interested in securing his signature.
However, Van Persie has insisted that he is not worried about his future and says he has no intention of fuelling the speculation.
“I am not tense,” Van Persie told De Telegraaf.
“I see it in simple terms; I have one year left on my contract with Manchester United.
“There is much speculation, which I do not want to participate in, but I am very relaxed.
“I do not want to participate in the charade.”
