Former Ajax Capetown Thabiso Nkoana, I don’t want to be baby seated

 Thabiso NkoanaThe University of Pretoria have confirmed the arrival of six new players as they stepped up preparations for the upcoming 2015/ 2016 Premier Soccer League campaign.

“Is not about me, we are a team and we have to play as a team, scoring goals is not easy, I don’t want to put myself under pressure, im working with great players.” said Nkoana

Included in the newcomers is forward Thabiso Nkoana, who previously played for cross-town rivals SuperSport United, and also spent time on loan at Ajax Cape Town.

“ I’m glad to be back home , where I started, when you are home there are more disadvantages because you are baby seated unlike when you are playing away from home” said Nkoana

Vukile Mngqibisa and Kabelo Lichaba, two defenders, join from Absa Premiership rivals Polokwane City while midfielder Sibusiso Mthethwa comes in from Free State Stars.

The other players are Namibia international defender Willem Mwedihanga, and rookie striker Siphamandla Dlamini, the Player of the Tournament at the recent Safa/SAB Under-21 tournament, where he turned out for Mpumalanga.

The Tshwane club also announced that they are hoping to complete the signing of New Zealand forward Harry Edge, who arrived from the Under-21 side of Dutch club PEC Zwolle, the player awaiting to receive his work permit.
