Defending champions Kaizer Chiefs will travel to Chippa United for their ABSA Premiership 2015/16 season opener on Women’s Day, Sunday, 9 August 2015.

The hugely anticipated match is scheduled to take place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium; kick-off is at 15:00.

“I am happy,” says striker David Zulu. “With more games you hope there’ll be improvement and it is promising.”

Zulu has featured in the Carling Black Label Cup preseason friendly and played a key role in Chiefs’ win over Maritzburg United in the MTN8 Cup on Wednesday.

“We are going there to win,” confirms Zulu. “No more feelings, even though they gave me a break.”

Zulu came close to scoring and was denied by the upright which would have opened his account since joining Chiefs from Chippa last season.

“We are the defending champs, we have to play like champions,” concludes Zulu with high confidence.
