Egyptian giants Al Ahly have finished on top of Group A following their narrow 1-0 win over Stade Malien on Saturday evening. Meanwhile, Tunisian outfit Etoile Sahel finished in second place after defeating Esperance 2-1 on the same night.

Both teams have qualified for the semi-finals of the CAF Confederations Cup having both amassed 13 points, however its Al Ahly who land the top spot due to a superior goal difference.

Orlando Pirates seem to be loosing plot and pressure is amounting on Eric Tinkler. Bucs suffered 4-1 away to Zamalek last weekend.

In 2013, Pirates faced both Zamalek and Al Ahly in the group stages of the CAF Champions League and then later on in the competition, Pirates would go on to meet Al Ahly in the final.
