Oupa Manyisa – has started running on the field and ball work

Oupa-Manyisa-PiratesThe technical team has received a timely boost ahead of Orlando Pirates’ Absa Premiership clash against Jomo Cosmos with the return of defender Happy Jele to full training following a groin strain.

According to the medical team, Jele has completed full training with the rest of the team and has not reported any discomfort or pain during the session.

The return of Jele couldn’t have come at a better time as the Buccaneers will be without the services of right back Ntsikelelo Nyauza for the encounter against Ezenkosi as he will be serving a one match suspension after collecting his fourth booking of the season during Bucs’ 3-all draw with Maritzburg United.

Another casualty from the match against Maritzburg United is Thandani Ntshumayelo who injured his ankle following a nasty tackle in the thrill-a-minute encounter. According to the medical team, Ntshumayelo is experiencing some pain and swelling is evident. As a result of this, the midfielder has been referred to doctors for further observation.

Injuries/Recoveries

• Siyabonga Sangweni – experiencing some pain and discomfort in his knee. He has been referred to doctors for scan.

• Lehlohonolo Masalesa – currently receiving treatment for knock.

• Oupa Manyisa – has started running on the field and ball work has been introduced in his rehabilitation programme.
