Platinum Stars hosting Kaizer Chiefs at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, while Polokwane City take on Bidvest Wits at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, both matches kicking off at 19H30.
Chiefs are currently third on the log standings, Platinum Stars fifth, the two sides 13 and 18 points behind pace-setters Mamelodi Sundowns respectively.
AmaKhosi go into the game on the back of a 2-0 reverse to Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup, Dikwena having seen off Second Division side Steenberg United via penalties.
Stars boss Cavin Johnson meanwhile is hoping to come up with the right tactical plan as his side tries to beat Chiefs for the second time in the league this season, the Soweto side having beaten Stars in the 2015 Telkom Knockout.
“You know when you play against Chiefs, you are covered with the players’ part. You have to do the tactical work. If you do the tactical part correctly you can always win the game.
“The fact that they lost the Nedbank Cup game, they are going to come out and they are going to run at us and we are preparing ourselves,” Johnson said.
