Royal Eagles claimed a top three position in the National First Division after beating Santos 4-0 down in Cape Town on Sunday.

African Warriors 0-0 AmaZulu

AmaZulu were on top for the first half at the Princess Magogo Stadium, but found the Warriors keeper to be in inspired form as he made a string of fine saves. In the end, the Durban team had to settle for a point under care-taker coach Delron Buckley.

Santos 0-4 Royal Eagles

Eagles made it seven points from their last three trips to the Mother City and moved above Witbank Spurs and into the top three bracket with victory at Athlone. On the score-sheet for Eagles were Katlego Mphela, Siyanda Ngubo and Kabelo Mahlasela, who weighed in with a brace.
