The result left AmaTuks on 21 points with four games to go, the club occupying 14th spot on the Absa Premiership table. The Pretoria team are above Cosmos on goal difference, and one point above Maritzburg United.
Tuks opened the scoring against AmaKhosi with a superb first half strike Vuyisile Ntombayithethi, but Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Willard Katsande scored in the second half to claim victory.
“I think it always difficult to swallow when you have done enough to at least get a point out of the game,” Bartlett said after the match.
“But then again you have to take responsibility when you get into the 18-yard area. I think we had enough chances to put it away. Once again it’s about being clinical and being ruthless in the final third. We just have to accept it and have to move forward.
“We have got to look at Sunday now, another massive game for us (against Jomo Cosmos). We have to make sure we get points from that game.”
