Royal Eagles host confident Mthatha Bucks

It has been a case of so far yet so near for the KZN club, who go into the final day’s action four points off the play-off zone after claiming just one point from their last three matches. Mthatha Bucks meanwhile go into the game with a huge weight lifted off their shoulders after last weekend’s win over Highlands Park secured their NFD status for another season.

In the final Cape derby of the season, Santos will be looking for a third straight win after victories over Swallows and Black Leopards lifted them clear of the relegation zone. After showing good form in the second half of the season, things have tapered off for the African Beasts, who have gone four matches without a win.

Vasco Da Gama v Black Leopards – Parow Park 

Vasco managed to do just enough in recent weeks to escape the relegation battle, the Cape side claiming seven points from their last five matches. Leopards continue to battle for consistency as they have done all season, the Limpopo outfit with two wins and three defeats in their last five games.
