Sevilla have confirmed their interest in Liverpool duo Joe Allen and Luis Alberto.
Liverpool want £10million for Allen and £7million for Luis Alberto and Sevilla’s sporting director Monchi claims they are two names on their list of transfer targets, along with São Paulo’s Ganso.
“It will take all afternoon to name everyone and I don’t like talking about players, who aren’t Sevilla’s,” he said.
“Ganso and Allen aren’t the only ones on the list. They meet the profile, but they don’t have to be the ones who come.”
Liverpool have rejected an £8million offer from Swansea to re-sign Allen, while Luis Alberto’s camp have already opened talks with Sevilla.
Liverpool paid Sevilla £6.8million for the Spanish winger three years ago and want their money back after his successful loan spell last season at Deportivo La Coruna.
“Luis Alberto?” said Monchi. “There’s an offer and we’re evaluating it. Negotiations haven’t started.
“He has features valid to the game we have. We’re considering other names. There’s no decision. If we’re considering him, it’s because we think he could be as interesting as other names.”
