Matsatsantsa playing host to Arrows tonight

SuperSport United Football Club welcome Lamontville Golden Arrows in their first league match of the year 2017.

The match is scheduled for Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday night.  Kick off is at 19:30.

The last time Matsatsantsa played at Lucas Moripe they registered a 2-1 win against Polokwane City was on Wednesday December 21, 2016.  The victory put SuperSport on top of the PSL table by virtue of goal difference.  In that match, Cole Alexander and forward Jeremy Brockie were on the score-sheet respectively.

The Tshwane-based-outfit has played 14 matches with six wins, seven draws and one loss.  On the other hand, their opponents Golden Arrows are on position six having played 15 matches with 20 points in the bag.

SuperSport will rely on players such as Thabo Mnyamane, Cole Alexander, Clayton Daniels, Aubrey Modiba Reneilwe Letsholonyane and skipper Dean Furman.

Good news for Matsatsantsa is the return of centre-back Tefo Mashamaite who recovered from an injury he picked up last year.  Also, Matsatsantsa have acquired the services of Mandla Masango who is on loan from Denmark’s Randers FC.

In the first round, the two outfits drew 1-1 at the Princess Magogo Stadium in September last year
