Bongi Ntuli is set to return to the AmaZulu starting line-up after serving a one match suspension.
The striker missed Usuthu’s last match against Cape Town City where a stunning free-kick from Tapelo Nyongo handed Cavin Johnson’s side a one-nil victory.
Usuthu head to Gauteng this week for a clash against Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening.
Ntuli who penned a permanent deal with the club after initially joining on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns has settled in well at the club.
“I’m very happy that I finally signed a contract with AmaZulu FC, I’m overjoyed,” Ntuli said.
“I can now focus on football, knowing that my future is secure here,” he added
He has seven goals in all competitions while his work rate has impressed Johnson all season.
“I’ve worked with coach Cavin Johnson quite a few times before, I’ve learnt quite a lot from him in terms of how I should play and I’m positive that I’ll gain more knowledge as time goes on,’ Ntuli said.
With ten games left in the season, Ntuli believes that he can capitalise on his consistent form.
“My target is to score maybe more than ten goals this season. I understand my role in the team, if I am not scoring then I need to help set up goals. It is also important for me to defend from the front,” Ntuli concluded.
