Soccer legends Rio Ferdinand, Michael Owen and Glenn Hoddle will front up SuperSport’s Champions League build-ups, starting this week.
The trio are among a galaxy of stars who analyse and discuss upcoming action on the BT Sport broadcast platform, SuperSport having negotiated to take the UK broadcast in Champions League weeks.
It guarantees a fresh take on the biggest issues in the tournament, with a crop of additional specialists on offer, among them seasoned broadcasters Des Kelly, Lynsey Hipgrave and Reshmin Chowdhury, who will regularly report from pitch-side.
“This is a fresh move with access to some of the game’s greatest stars,” said Gideon Khobane, chief executive of SuperSport.
