Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson knows he cannot establish himself as England’s No.1 without playing every week in the Premier League.
Dean Henderson has thrown down the gauntlet in his battle with David de Gea and is convinced he will become Manchester United ’s number one
Henderson has signed a new five-year deal with United but will clearly not accept a back-up role at Old Trafford.
Asked if he knows he cannot become England’s first choice if he is a number two at his club, Henderson said: “100 percent. 100 percent I accept that. But that won’t … (happen).”
And that means if he cannot get ahead of De Gea when the new season starts, the 23-year-old will soon push for another loan move to a Premier League rival.
