Manchester United have been told they can land Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele for a cut-price £60million.
United have turned their focus towards the 23-year-old Frenchman after Borussia Dortmund refused to budge on their £107million valuation of Jadon Sancho.
Neither Barcelona or Dembele are interested in agreeing a loan move to Old Trafford.
But with Nou Camp boss Ronald Koeman looking to raise funds to land top target Memphis Depay, the Catalan club are ready to take a £35million hit on Dembele to seal a permanent sale.
Sunday Mirror Sport revealed in August that United were prepared to wait another 12 months to land Sancho after deciding that Dortmund’s asking price was excessive during the summer of the coronavirus pandemic.
