Kaizer Chiefs went down 3-0 to archrivals Orlando Pirates in the first leg of their MTN8 semi-final at Orlando Stadium. Chiefs had the early chances in the first half but were unable to capitalise on them and Pirates against the run of play took the lead in the 26th minute from Zakhele Lepasa who looked to be in an offside position when heading Pirates ahead. Further goals from Vincent Pule in the 67th minute and Thembinkosi Lorch in the 81st minute swung the tie in Pirates favour.
