Kaizer Chiefs played out to a 0-0 draw against TS Galaxy

Kaizer Chiefs played out to a 0-0 draw in their DStv Premiership clash with TS Galaxy on Wednesday evening at the FNB Stadium. A game which could have gone either way saw Chiefs play a good defensive line as they kept their second successive clean-in the league. Galaxy also missed a first half penalty when Wayde Lekay nonchalantly stepped up and side footed his 28th minute spot kick onto Daniel Akpeyi’s crossbar.

This was the first ever league meeting between Chiefs and TS Galaxy.

Chiefs keeper Daniel Akpeyi is yet to concede a goal in the league this season keeping a clean sheet in both of his league appearances this campaign.

A stronger all-round defensive showing from Chiefs as they welcomed back for the first time this season Mathoho and Moleko. While Castro proved to be a difficult customer for the Galaxy defence after his introduction in the second half.
