Golden Arrows will look to keep up their unbeaten start to the DStv Premiership when they host Kaizer Chiefs at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday 21 November 2020.

Golden Arrows avoided a first defeat this season when a late goal from Velemseni Ndwandwe secured a 1-1 draw away to high-flying Baroka FC on November 4.

Abafana Bes’thende’s only previous home match this term brought them a 3-1 win over SuperSport United in late October – a result they will hope to repeat.

Kaizer Chiefs recorded their first draw of the league campaign when they were held 0-0 at FNB Stadium by top-flight rookies TS Galaxy on November 4.

The Amakhosi’s only previous away match this season saw them claim a narrow 1-0 win over Chippa United in late October.

In head-to-head stats, Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows have met in 38 league matches since 2000/01. The Amakhosi have claimed 20 wins compared to eight for Abafana Bes’thende, while 10 games have been drawn. The Durban side has won five of their 19 home league matches in the rivalry, suffering nine defeats in the process.

Last season Kaizer Chiefs completed a league ‘double’ over Golden Arrows, winning 2-0 at FNB Stadium in October 2019, thanks to a penalty from Daniel Cardoso and an own goal from Nkosinathi Sibisi, and 1-0 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in January 2020 thanks to a late strike from Lebogang Manyama.
