AmaZulu           (1) 2 (Mulenga 46+1’, Majoro 85’)

Kaizer Chiefs were defeated 2-1 by AmaZulu in a league game on Wednesday afternoon at FNB Stadium.

The visitors’ two goals both coming late in each half with Augustine Mulenga putting them ahead in added time at the end of the first half; then Lehlohonolo Majoro scored in the 85th with a backheel lob to win the game for AmaZulu. Chiefs had drawn level in the 67th minute when substitute Leonardo Castro converted a penalty.

Amakhosi went down to ten men when Darrel Matsheke was sent off in the 72nd minute as a result of picking up his second yellow card of the game. The numerical deficiency eventually worked against Chiefs.
