Kaizer Chiefs beat Petro 2 Nil at Home

Chiefs have gone 360 minutes at home in the CAF Champions League this season without conceding a goal, Amakhosi have kept a clean sheet in all four of their home games in the competition this season. This was Chiefs’ first home win in the CAF Champions League this season.

Having faced Angolan opponents five times in African club competitions Chiefs are undefeated (W3 D2).

Zulu and Frosler were bright on the wings for Chiefs, while Bernard Parker ran hard and worked tirelessly up front. Cardoso back in the starting lineup marshalled the defense well with Mathoho. Ngcobo’s well delivered corners proved troublesome for Petro and Mashiane was an attacking threat to the visitors.
